Square Foot Theatre is a community theatre at its core - a collective of people working to find new ways to tell old stories, bring untold stories to the forefront of conversation, and by participating in our immersive experience, be a part of the conversation. At Square Foot Theatre, we aspire to create a platform for people to find the true power of theatre: connection to the human experience. This year, despite the challenges the pandemic brought us, we were still able to impact so many lives:

• Roughly 75 talented actors graced our stage and quickly became SFT family

• Over 1,000 patrons left their reality stricken worlds to get lost in ours

• Nearly 800 students learned through virtual and in-person instruction in our school outreach programs.

We are extremely fortunate to have safely reopened, but we are still not operating at full capacity. This caused ticket sale revenue to decrease by nearly 50%, and has left limited funds to make updates to our microphones that are in dire need of repair.

As we close out this year and welcome the energy that awaits us is 2022, we sincerely hope you will consider a tax-deductible contribution to SFT. Your support is needed now more than ever. In 2021, over 40% of our operating budget came from public support. Your gift allows us to continue to enhance our arts programming and make the necessary microphone updates to improve your experience. 

I continue to be inspired by both the patrons and actors that walk through our doors. In the chaos of today's world, theatre continues to act as a powerful tool to escape our daily lives and get lost in art.
